German court fined today, Wednesday, a controversial bishop in Germany, and compelled to pay 1,800 euros ($ 2,400), because of the denial of the Holocaust committed by Hitler's Nazi regime against the Jews "Holocaust" during a television interview four years ago.
Bishop denied Alcatholocy Richard Williamson of Catholic Community of St. Pius rebel on the mother church in Rome, the existence of the gas chambers used by the Nazis in burning large numbers of Jews during World War II, during a television interview in 2008 with Swedish channel.
As Williamson estimated the number of Jews killed in the Holocaust by the Nazis around 200 to 300 thousand, and not six million estimated prevailing globally.
Williamson did not attend, 72-year-old, the trial that took place today, Wednesday, in the southern German city of Regensburg.
